Certified Farmers’ Market Advisory Committee Seeks to Fill 18 Vacancies
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) announced there are 18 vacancies on the California Certified Farmers’ Market Advisory Committee. The committee advises the secretary of agriculture concerning issues related to the direct marketing of agricultural products at certified farmers’ markets.
These vacancies can be filled by active certified producers and certified farmers’ market operators or representatives. The term of office is two years. Committee members do not receive compensation, but may be entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses.
