San Diego Area Agritourism Networking and Informational Session
San Diego area growers engaged or interested in agritourism are encouraged to attend the San Diego Region Agritourism Gathering on May 22 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in Carlsbad, CA. The event is designed to help attendees learn more about agritourism, network with peers and focus on collaborative program development. The agenda is as follows:
Location 1: Carlsbad Strawberry Company, 1050 Cannon Road, Carlsbad, CA
- 8:00 a.m. — Check-in, network and welcome
- 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. — Tour and Q&A
- 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. — Transition to next location
Location 2: Carlsbad Flower Fields, 5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA
- 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. — Discussion concerning current status, ongoing and future programming for agritourism in San Diego region
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. — Debrief/open conversation
- 12:00 – 1:00 p.m .— Networking lunch
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. — Flower Fields overview and tour
- 3:00 p.m. — Adjourn
Online registration is open until May 20 and the fee is $20 per person.
