California Avocados on Taco Chains Menus
Del Taco (350+ units in California) and Jimboy’s Tacos North America (39 units), two California-based taco chains, partnered with the California Avocado Commission during the month of July, to proudly announce to their guests their use of locally grown and sustainably farmed California avocados in their house-made guacamole. Del Taco reached more than 1 million California reward club members through two enewsletters during July. Jimboy’s Tacos utilized their social media posts to reach their guests with the message and showed a 12.5% increase of avocado usage from this year’s promotion compared to the same period last year.
