On Wednesday, April 16 the California Avocado Society is hosting a two-hour seminar entitled, Water Knowledge is Power Knowledge. Interested parties can attend in person or via Zoom from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
The topics and presenters are as follows:
- Sources of ET information and their reliability — Ali Montazar, UCCE Irrigation Advisor, Imperial/San Diego/Riverside Counties
- Selecting irrigation emitters: drip versus microsprinkler — Stu Styles, Cal Poly SLO Irrigation Training and Education Center
The event will be held in person at the San Diego County Farm Bureau located at 420 South Broadway, Escondido, CA. In-person attendance registration is available online. Online registration for the Zoom version is also available.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the California Avocado Commission and the UC Cooperative Extension.
