Upcoming Ventura County Agri-Tech Fair in September

On September 10, the Farm Bureau of Ventura County will host the Agri-Tech Fair. The day-long event will take place at the Oxnard Courtyard Marriott located at 600 Esplanade Drive in Oxnard, CA from 8:00 a.m. –  5:00 p.m.

The Ag Tech Exhibition Hall will open at 8:00 a.m. and feature the latest advancements in agriculture. The following topics of interest to California avocado growers will be presented at the event:

  • Navigating the waters of the new ag order
  • Ventura County grading: exemptions, ag permitting and related requirements
  • Variety development as tech and as a support to new tech
  • Challenges to having data-based recommendations for natural enemies in ag
