The University of California Cooperative Extension of San Diego County offers a Farm Labor Management Training Program designed to help agricultural employers better understand and mitigate labor related risks. As part of this program, an Ag Employer Seminar will take place. The seminar includes the following sessions:

  • Legal and regulatory updates impacting agricultural employers
  • Developing effective supervisors to manage today’s labor force
  • Understanding and managing the H2A Visa Program effectively, including:
  • Regulatory compliance issues of the H2A Visa Program
  • Managing legal challenges of the H2A Visa application
  • The H2A Visa Program from a grower’s perspective

The seminar fee is $60 if attendees register by August 4; after that date, the fee will increase to $75 per person. Seating is limited. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Online registration is now available for the Ag Employer Seminar.
