The Commission highly encourages California avocado growers and industry members to complete the survey as data from the survey will help CAC refine heatwave responses by area based on the specificity of responses.

California avocado growers are encouraged to complete the San Diego County’s Agriculture, Weights and Measures’ 2022 Crop Report Questionnaire. The data gathered from the survey is published in the Crop Statistics and Annual Report for the County.
NASS Agriculture Resource Management Survey Seeks Grower Data to Examine Farm Economics
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service is distributing the 2022 Agricultural Resource Management Survey to producers across the nation between January and April 2023. California avocado growers are encouraged to complete the survey, which is part of NASS’ efforts to gather information about farm economics and production practices.
Commission Highlights Top Performing Retail Promotions of 2022
On December 15, the California Avocado Commission’s Marketing Committee, which is comprised of California avocado grower and handler members, hosted its first meeting of the 2022-23 fiscal year. The meeting provided the Commission with an opportunity to discuss the upcoming California avocado season and share the top retail promotions of the previous season with attendees.
