To better understand the impact of the heatwave on the 2025 California avocado crop volume, CAC has drafted a brief survey. The Commission highly encourages California avocado growers and industry members to complete the survey as data from the survey will help CAC refine heatwave responses by area based on the specificity of responses.

To drive awareness and excitement for the California avocado season, the California Avocado Commission conducted consumer public relations outreach in early April, including the distribution of a press release and a mat release, which is a short feature story designed to read like a newspaper article, making it easy for publications to pick up and run as is.
Field Tour Event to Focus on Irrigation and Nutrient Management
The Ventura County Resource Conservation District is hosting two Irrigation and Nutrient Management Field Tours on June 1 (3:00 – 6:00 p.m.) and June 2 (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) in Somis, California. Growers need only attend one session.
