Virtual Wildfire Speaker Series Available
The Ventura County Resource Conservation District is hosting a series of free Virtual Wildfire Speaker seminars to help California residents prepare for wildfire season. These sessions provide residents with the opportunity to engage with wildfire experts. The next session will take place on November 22 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The November session will focus on wildfire preparations for the elderly, special needs persons, and animals, as well as what to expect at a wildfire evacuation shelter. Another virtual seminar session will be held on December 6. This session will focus on wildfire emergency response and community services.
A library of previous Virtual Wildfire Speaker Series sessions are available online. Previous sessions cover the following topics:

Interested persons must RSVP online in order to receive a Zoom link for the upcoming seminars.
