The California Avocado Society will host a Wells and Pumps Avocado Field Day on June 27 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Nick Stehly Ranch in San Diego County.
The event will take place in the fields and include the following speakers:
- Drilling a well from start to finish — Paul Stehly, Stehly Brothers Drilling
- Locating potential drilling sites — Devon Keller, Water Prospectors
- Best management practices for irrigation — Dr. Valerie Mellano, UC Cooperative Extension
Registration is required for the event and closes by June 24. The event address will be provided upon registration.
The event is co-presented by the California Avocado Commission and the UC-Cooperative Extension.
