The San Diego County Farm Bureau is hosting the free San Diego Farm and Nursery Expo on November 10 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The event provides members of the agricultural industry with the opportunity to network with other farmers and vendors, attend a range of seminars and learn about beneficial programs.
Seminar topics of interest to California avocado growers include:
- Top 10 Pesticide Laws and Regulations Violations
- Invasive Pest Updates
- UCCE Small Farms Research, Technical Assistance and Staffing Update
- The Magnitude of Managing Water
The event will close with a social hour from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Expo will take place at the California Center for the Arts, located at 340 N Escondido Blvd., Escondido, CA.
