Ventura County Water Crisis and Drought Forum
The upcoming Ventura County Water Crisis and California Drought Forum will feature local water experts who will discuss the threats of the extreme drought and potential regional aridization conditions in the county and state.
The forum will cover the following topics:
- Current water supply and demand projections
- Methods to improve water conservation, reliability and resiliency
- Potential long-term solutions, particularly for Western Ventura County
The session will take place September 8 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. at the Ventura County Government Center, Hall of Administration, Board of Supervisors Hearing Room located at 800 South Victoria Avenue, Ventura, CA, 93009.
The event will be in person and will be livestreamed. Attendees can register for the event online. For those who prefer to attend the event online, they also should register online to obtain the virtual access information.
