Virtual Produce Safety Training Available
The University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources department is offering a two-day virtual Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training course that satisfies the Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Rule requirement. Registration closes February 15.
California Avocado Society Tree Management Seminar
The California Avocado Society is hosting a free seminar entitled, “How to Manage the Trees in a Wet Year” on February 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Interested parties may attend in person or virtually.

The Community Alliance with Family Farms’ Small Farm Tech Hub provides free resources to California-based small-scale farmers to assist them with utilizing technologies to expand their operation’s opportunities. The hub includes free tech consultations for small-scale operators.

The San Diego Food System Alliance is offering a free webinar for small-scale producers to discuss lender readiness and financial pro formas. The financial webinar is designed to help-small scale producers have a productive conversation with lenders to raise funds and/or apply for a loan.
