Growers and Industry Members Encouraged to Complete Heatwave Impact Survey
To better understand the impact of the heatwave on the 2025 California avocado crop volume, CAC has drafted a brief survey. The Commission highly encourages California avocado growers and industry members to complete the survey as data from the survey will help CAC refine heatwave responses by area based on the specificity of responses.

Highlights from the 2022 California Avocado Tracking Study
The California Avocado Tracking Study has been conducted regularly since the mid-1990s. The 2022 study provides a wealth of information that helps the California Avocado Commission marketing team direct communications, as well as measure progress against some objectives and performance measures detailed in the annual business plan.
Growers Encouraged to Complete Farmworker Housing Study
Ventura County, in partnership with the nonprofit House Farm Workers! and all 10 County cities, will soon begin surveying agricultural employers, farmworkers and housing providers as part of its Countywide Farmworker Housing Study and Action Plan. The goal is to identify farmworker housing needs in support of a stable and healthy workforce.

Low Interest Disaster Loans Available for Recent Storms and Flooding
The U.S. Small Business Administration is providing long-term, low interest direct federal loans for agricultural operations in San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties affected by the severe winter storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides occurring from December 27, 2022 through January 31, 2023.
