Consumer Marketing Campaign Evolves and Expands

The California Avocado Commission’s consumer marketing campaign is set to evolve and expand for 2025.

The “What’s Inside a California Avocado” campaign - winner of a 2024 Produce Business’ Marketing Excellence Award – will continue to highlight the growers and exceptional care behind every California avocado. This year, the campaign also will spotlight the consumer side of the story, featuring stunning shots of California avocado-centric dishes and vibrant imagery of consumers enjoying the fruit.

In addition, CAC is expanding its consumer marketing investment in 2025, meaning the ads will appear in more communications channels — including broadcast TV — and reach larger, but still targeted audiences. Ads are currently scheduled to begin appearing April 1.

Media Grove Tour Plans Underway

To create greater awareness of the California avocado grower story and celebrate the start of the season, plans are underway for a major grove tour event featuring consumer, foodservice and trade media, along with retail and foodservice industry stakeholders. Stay tuned for details.

Retail Influencer Event Forthcoming

Social media activity kicked off in January and social channels will be buzzing about California avocados even more this spring. CAC is once again planning a season kick-off event with a key retailer, inviting influencers into the store to sample California avocados and create social media posts encouraging followers to shop and join in the season’s launch. These influencer posts will run April – May.
