USDA Extends Deadline for Two Revenue Loss Programs
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the June 2 deadline for the Emergency Relief Program Phase Two and Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program to July 14. In addition, the USDA Farm Service Agency has partnered with organizations to assist applicants with the ERP and PARP process.
To be eligible for EPR Phase Two, producers must have suffered a decrease in allowable gross revenue in 2020 or 2021 because of losses associated with eligible crops and due to a qualifying natural disaster. To be eligible for PARP, a producer must have been farming during at least part of the 2020 calendar year and had a 15% or greater decrease in allowable gross revenue as compared to a baseline year.
Those seeking relief through the ERP Phase Two program can choose from nine partner organizations to obtain assistance with the application process via phone or online meetings. The organizations also can assist with future insurance coverage requirements as required by the ERP program. A list of the organizations can be found online.
To assist with the PARP application process, the USDA will host a webinar on June 8 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Interested parties can register for the webinar online.
