Growers Encouraged to Attend LAFCO Hearing July 10
The San Diego County Local Agency Formation Commission will host a continued public hearing on two Fallbrook PUD and Rainbow MWD wholesaler reorganization proposals. Growers are encouraged the meeting, which takes place July 10 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the County Administration Center in San Diego, CA.
Avocado Grower Meeting to Cover Pollinizers, World Markets and Alternative Marketing
California avocado growers are invited to attend a California avocado growers' meeting (either in person or via Zoom) on June 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The meeting will cover a variety of topics of interest to growers.

On June 5, the San Diego County Local Agency Formation Commission will host an in-person hearing in which the Fallbook PUD and Rainbow MWD wholesaler reorganization proposal will be discussed. The proposal seeks to transfer wholesale water service from the San Diego County Water Authority to the Eastern Municipal Water District.
USDA Extends Deadline for Two Revenue Loss Programs
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the June 2 deadline for the Emergency Relief Program Phase Two and Pandemic Assistance Revenue Program to July 14. In addition, the USDA Farm Service Agency has partnered with organizations to assist applicants with the ERP and PARP process.
