NASS Agriculture Resource Management Survey Seeks Grower Data to Examine Farm Economics

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service is distributing the 2022 Agricultural Resource Management Survey to 41,000 producers across the nation between January and April 2023. California avocado growers are encouraged to complete the survey, which is part of NASS’ efforts to gather information about farm economics and production practices.

The survey asks producers to provide information concerning operating revenues, production costs and household characteristics. All information provided via the survey remains confidential and data will only be published in aggregate form. The expense data gathered will be shared in the annual Farm Production Expenditures report that is due for release on July 28, 2023.
