Growers and Industry Members Encouraged to Complete Heatwave Impact Survey

To better understand the impact of the heatwave on the 2025 California avocado crop volume, the California Avocado Commission has drafted a brief survey. The Commission highly encourages California avocado growers and industry members to complete the survey as data from the survey will help CAC refine heatwave responses by area based on the specificity of responses.

To this end, growers with multiple groves, groves in different locations, or groves that were impacted differently by the heat are asked to complete individual surveys for each of those groves. This level of detail will ensure the Commission can address the impact of the heat appropriately across California avocado growing regions and better understand the total volume expected for the 2025 season.

The survey can be completed online. Responses are due by September 30.
