Avocado Release Dates for the 2024-25 Season Available

On October 3, the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Avocado Inspection Program announced the avocado release dates for the upcoming season. The release dates cover the following varieties: Bacon, Fuerte, GEM, Gwen, Hass, Lamb Hass, Pinkerton and Zutano. The GEM variety release dates are divided into the San Joaquin Valley region and the Southern/Northern regions. The Reed release dates will be announced by CDFA in Spring 2025.
