California Avocado Society Fertilizer Seminar Available Online
A recording of the “Get Down – Fertilizers” seminar is now available online. The seminar outlined best practices for fertilization, as well as how to read water and soil reports applicable to California avocado groves.
Dr. Danny Klittich, director of agronomy at Mission Produce, and Dr. Ben Faber of the UC Cooperative Extension led the session. Topics covered included:
- How to select fertilizers and the chemical properties of each
- Fertilizer application methods
- How to read water and soil reports
