Hass Avocado Board Accepting Nominations
The Hass Avocado Board is seeking nominations for eight open seats — four open seats for producers and four for importers. The nomination process is open from March 1 to April 1, 2024.
Board members serve a three-year term (November 1, 2024 – October 31, 2027) and play a crucial role in supporting HAB’s mission to strengthen the global avocado industry and its stakeholders. HAB works to develop the U.S. market for Hass avocados by providing business support tools, focusing on sustainability practices across the supply chain and leading the way on nutrition, communications and providing relevant information. As a HAB board member, individuals help shape HAB’s focus, determine the distribution of its investments and collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges faced by the industry.
