Seat Available on San Diego Region Water Quality Board
The San Diego Region Water Quality Board has a seat available on its seven-member Board. The San Diego County Farm Bureau is looking for interested applicants with an agricultural perspective that they can recommend for the position.
Members of the Board are appointed by Governor Newsom and serve a four-year term. This is a part-time position where business concerning water quality matters is conducted at regular meetings. There are approximately 10 meetings each year and public participation at the meetings is encouraged. The Board focuses on the quality of California’s water resources and drinking water and works to ensure water resources are properly allocated and efficiently used.
