The California Avocado Commission is seeking candidates for its board of directors’ public member position. This volunteer position — which will run through October 31, 2024 — provides the member with an opportunity to represent the community and have a voice in the future of the California avocado industry.

Food Industry Pro Terry Splane Joins CAC as New VP Marketing
The California Avocado Commission has hired food industry veteran Terry Splane to be the organization’s new vice president of marketing, effective March 13, 2023. Mr. Splane fills the role vacated by Jan DeLyser following her retirement last month.
CAC Board Alternate Producer Seats Available in Districts 1, 3 and 5
The California Avocado Commission has three alternate producer seats available on the CAC Board of Directors for districts 1, 3 and 5. The vacancies will be filled by a majority vote of the Board at a meeting held on March 14 and those appointed will serve through October 31, 2023.
