The California Avocado Commission Board of Directors 2024 General Election is now underway with nominations being accepted through August 26, 2024. The election will seat one producer member for each of the five grower districts as well one handler. The newly elected members will serve a two-year term ending on October 31, 2026. The California Avocado Commission has a Handler Alternate Member seat available on the CAC Board of Directors. The appointed person will serve through the unexpired portion of the term — October 31, 2025. The vacancy will be filled by a majority vote held at a CAC Board meeting on August 15.
